Anything else to offer?
If you have a skill or interest you can volunteer with us in other ways, taking pictures, writing a blog, promoting Greener Peebles in the community – there are all sorts of things you can do. Give us a call to discuss.
If you have ever had a dream to raise money for a charity we would love for you to pick us. We will support you, promote your fundraising journey and celebrate your achievements with our community.
We are extremely grateful to Dorothy and Callum Orr who completed the Mighty Stride Kiltwalk in September 2023. The fantastic £1074 they raised will be used to help us reduce our carbon emissions through the purchase of a cordless strimmer and mower to replace the petrol fuelled machines we currently use. We will use our solar powered generator to charge their batteries.
In 2022 our Kiltwalkers, Andy and Rosa, raised the funds that enabled us to complete essential repairs and improvements to our yurt.
We are here to serve our community – that means YOU! We always have a survey on the go, and are looking for quotes. To help out and/or give us feedback, please contact our friendly staff team.
As a small charity we are dependent on grant funding.
As funding becomes more competitive, it is necessary to turn to our community for support. Please visit our Donations page to help the garden continue to thrive.
You can also support us by using one of our paid services: – leasing a plot at the garden…. attending Grow Kids… and buying our produce…
Our service users get a great experience (including harvest) from these services, plus you are helping to make our garden sustainable.
We believe the community garden is a special place that has something to offer everyone.
We welcome enquiries about booking our garden facilities. Please download our Garden Hire Information Leaflet to find out more!
